“ I visited this place for the first time for a birthday and while I was a little apprehensive about the look, the food was actually quite good. This place has an old Southside feel to it and has a bit too many video gambling machines. I was here for a kid's party which seemed a little weird because this place is NOT really kid friendly. Thats ok that its not kid friendly as well. Kids don't have to be EVERYWHERE, but it just wasn't set up for families. I will say that I was impressed by the food. They have a whole "eggroll" section which honestly, I could have just ordered all of those! We went with the Irish ones which were perfectly balanced with ingredients and were nice and crispy. We also got the pizza which was good, but not entirely earth shattering. The pizza is thinner and crispier so I will give them that! Its a true tavern style since we are in, well, a tavern! Finding a bar with good food can sometimes be hard anywhere you go. I will say that this bar gets the seal from me for "good food". I might even bump it to excellent. Big Menu, Big Drinks, and Big Tastes! Sounds good to me! ”

“ I visited Clancy's for the first time with a group of family members. It was a very packed Saturday night and the staff was hustling. Nonetheless, our service was top notch and the food delicious. I loved the cream of chicken soup. Definitely homemade and wishing I had ordered a bowl instead of a cup. I had the corned beef sandwich and it was fantastic. The establishment definitely had a friendly neighborhood feel and loved that they had live music. Can't wait to pay another visit to Clancy's. ”

“ First Time here, based on a recommendation, and we will be back! This place is a keeper for someone's "list-to-go". Started off with the Irish Nachos (pot roast option). The meat was so tender and moist. The black olives would not have been my first choice, but I get it, nachos need olives. ;-) Also had the french onion soup. Great taste, very herbaceous, not too salty. Finished off with the crispy fish sandwich. Another WINNER :-) Perfect crispy crunch, portion size fabulous. Hubby had the corned beef sandwich and gave it 2 thumbs-up. Server was very attentive and the pace of food was perfect. ”
